I am downsizing my collection of well loved books due to my age and space. But this one is one of the most interesting one I have ever read. It is a book written by Marilyn Monroes housekeeper, and cook, Lena Pepitone. It reveals the good, the bad, the juicy, the sad, all the details of Marilyn Monroes life since Lena was hired to cook Italian food for Marilyn in 1957.You have never before read such a fascinating book about anyone! It truly affirms a lot of the later things about her that were hard to believe, such as, it was a very difficult thing to make her take a bath! lena tells it very well, holding your interest til the last page, all about her death at 444 Fifty-Seventh Street,N.Y. This book is an original if there ever was one, told as only a housekeeper/cook would tell it.I gave it 5 stars, for it is worthy. It also has a naked pull out poster of her in it, but I am not into stuff of the nature.Thank you.
