By far the best book to have when you're starting out on your own or newly married/dating. This book has it all: how to make clothes/alter what you have to fit, make luxury bath stuff, hair and make up tip, how to do basic house maintenance, recipes to make you own beer/food, get married on a dime and tips for pregnancy/birth. It was a great investment and hope to pass it off to my daughter when she's 40. (kidding, when she's ready to leave the nest she can have it)
