This is a collection of three novels told from the point of view of an angel. In the first novel, the angel Darian is sent to earth after he questions God about why Satan and the fallen angels were cast out of the Kingdom. He is sent to earth to see the evil they have done firsthand, and encounters many people and angels there as he struggles about whether to join the rebellion or not.
The book was obvioulsy written by a very funadmentalist christian and if you are of that stripe and believe in hellfire awaiting non-Christians and that homosexuality and abortion are abominations, this should be right up your ally.
If you are not a fundamentalist Christian, you will at least learn about how such people think.
I only read the first book, and found it pretty offensive from a non-Christian standpoint. But I have heard from Christian friends who love this collection of books.
So I guess it depends on your view going into it.
Either way, it makes one think.
