See if you can read this to your child without bursting into tears. It's a sweet story of a baby growing up and his mother's love.
A couple of things disturb me about this book, though: first off, where's the dad? Next, isn't it a little weird that the mom rocks her ADULT son as he sleeps? Maybe it's just my cynical attitude, but those are the only things that are wrong with this book, in my opinion.
The above doesn't keep me from getting teary every time my 3-year-old requests this book. It's very cute and almost poetic to read. It's not your typical Munsch story.
