Ages 8-12 Delrita goes through school trying not to be noticed. She doesn't want friends coming to her house after school because she doesn't want anyone to make fun of her Uncle Punky. Punky has Down's syndrome and she loves him, and doesn't wish for anyone to tease him. Life is always changing and Delrita's life turns upside down.
