How many weight loss and/or fitness books do you have on your bookshelf? I have several. They all have good information, but I still sit here with an added sixty pounds of unhealthy weight.
What's the problem? Am I lazy? Am I just a procrastinator? Do I like to be fat? Do I like not being able to chase my kiddos or play an active sport with them? Sure, I can be lazy and a procrastinator, but I sure miss out on a lot because I'm just not in the shape physically to do much.
So, what's the answer?
I believe the answer is found in this book. As I read, I felt as if though Chantel was spying on me and reading my thoughts somehow. How did she know I was a perfectionist (that obviously fails time after time)? How did she know my methods and way of thinking when it came to my self-image and weight loss efforts? Because she's been there!
I've never read a weight loss book that put it in such a do-able perspective. She has shown me how to let go of my perfectionist tendencies and the haunting failures of my past. She has shown me how to live healthy for today, not worrying about tomorrow.
If you need to lose some weight or just get healthy, I highly encourage you to read this book. I am giving my honest opinion here! I am definitely thanking my God and Saviour for sending this book my direction!
