This was the first M. William Phelps book I have ever read. I didn't know his name, or the fact that he has his own show on the ID channel (Dark Minds). I simply plugged in "True Crime" into my library's search engine, and there he was.
That being said, I picked up the book and could not put it down. It was a very fast paced, heartbreaking story, that has you cheering for the victim until the very last page. I love the way Phelps criticizes and delves into the lives of every character of the story, to make you feel like you are along for the ride.
I have made it my mission to read every Phelps book I can get my hands on, and so far, he has not disappointed.
If you like True Crime Mysteries, without all the "Big courtroom jargon" I highly recommend, not only this book, but his others as well!
Thanks to this book, I have become a M. William Phelps Mega Fan!
