The story of three young Jewish immigrants to the U.S. in the early 1900's. Hannah along with her sister, from Lithuania, and their friend, Samuel, from Russia; share the story of traveling on the train and aboard the ship across the Atlantic to Ellis Island. All three young people are starting a new life in America. A great teaching story for the young reader.
