An emotionally charged account of one family's moral struggle between saving one child and losing another. When a verdict is reached, it seems that everything fits together too nicely. Every single character in the book is awarded exactly what they want, either from a judge's decision or a rather fortunate twist of fate. Until the surprise twist at the end which leaves everyone's lives in shambles.
Well written and though provoking although not too difficult to guess the ending.
