the style the books is written in took a few paragraphs of getting used to. but i totally enjoyed this book. it was a lot of fun and filled with information. a great resource if you are thinking of touring scotland's lowlands, but also a great way to tour it 'virtually' if you can't be there in person. she also has a website with pictures of all the places she has visited and described, which was really nice. it's always great to see with your eyes the places a writer has described with words - a perfect combination.
