This is the first book in one of my favorite urban fantasy series. After a cryptic voice mail message from her older sister, Mackayla Lane goes to Ireland and in the process discovers that she and her sister aren't entirely what they seem. A great start to a new urban fantasy suspense series about humans and fae. Really enjoyed the story. Read it over two days. I was captivated from the first page and the ending left me wanting to continue with the series. There are some very sexually charged moments, but no actual sex and no romance although it's hinted there's romance to come. It didn't bother me that the story is told in first person although there were times I wished I could know what the mysterious Jericho Barrons was thinking.
