Hannah once again gives us a beautiful story. This time it is set as a Guard helicopter pilot who gets called to active duty in Iraq.
The story of Jolene's time at war and her return home make for a gripping story. The family situation feels very real and the reader begins to learn what our military families are going through every day.
I thought this was one of Hannah's best novels. It's one of my favorite reads in a long time!
