Lady Fellicity Melville is twenty three. This will be her fifth season...if you don't count last year which she spent on tour. She needs to find a husband before they consider her a spinster. Watching the stars one night from her balcony she is witness to Nigel Cavendish's rapid escape from her neighbors house. From Lady Pomfreys bedroom...nearly caught by Lord Pomfrey. He escapes by climbing over the wall into Felicity's yard. He can't see the way out of her yard. Lady Felicity helps him escape and decides she really needs to know who this rake is.
