not the best I've ever read, in fact didn't finish it--too much description and I get very tired of reading page after page of description, way too long, almost 450 is just too long for this kind of story, the editing of this needed help to cut down on so much description and just get on with the story and I've read better stories so I found this one to be on the boring side for as much of it as I could read, it takes place in Arizona along the border where Mexicans are crossing into U.S. and murdered, I didn't like the storyline so gave up on it and hoping the next 'heat' book will be much better
