I sadly feel the opposite of (so far) every other reviewer of this book. I have read every Reacher book in the series, and this is only the second one that I disliked (the first being "Bad Luck and Trouble"). I could barely finish this one! First of all, there were two completely different storylines going on, which didn't diverge even slightly until well past the first half of the book. Then, Reacher seemed to only be a supporting player in the storyline he WAS in, giving his opinion when needed and using his famous fighting moves from time to time. And finally, the story as a whole was uninteresting and just dragged on. An utter waste of time, in my opinion.
