This was a good atmospheric mystery. An island with 9 suspects and a missing body during a nor'easter. Our protagonist and her partner are trapped with a volatile family. Our protagonist is on her first murder case since traumatic and damaging events and is questioning her sanity and ability to do her job. Her partner is a small town cop who has never worked a murder case. It really picks up in the last 100 pages or so. I didn't know for sure who the murderer was. The ending does leave us with a couple of dark unanswered questions about our protagonist's past.
