It is spring and again there is an endless caseload for Lt. Mendoza. There is Dapper Dan the rapist, a stickup artist who has found a fool proof weapon, a ferocious Doberman, a gruesome double homicide/suicide with a weird twist, and a senator's 'natural' death that suddenly doesn't appear so natural keep Mendoza on the job long hours.
