I see 2 reviewers didnt care for this book 4 in the series. Odd, cause I really liked this book. We got to know two of the lesser featured characters. Gillian is the suspect in this book and we learn so much about this zen lady. Bennett, the African American Postal worker who is studying up to be on Jeopardy. This all centers around a huge Hog festival in a nearby town. We learn a great deal about BBQing meats. I also liked that there is a hometown mystery brewing at the library on Friday night. None of this was really obvious to me, as the answers came out to wrap it all up. There was a Queen Sow pageant, and a blueberry pie eating contest, on top of the BBQ contest. Everything tied up in the end and everyone seemed to be finding a new direction for their lives. I loved it. Off to read book 5.
