Reality, in your face, nitty-gritty, raw human emotions from selfishness and sarcasm to love and kindness, support and understanding. This book has it all and YES, it is a powerful book.
Several people board a flight that will take them to Phoenix Arizona, though a blizzard keeps them grounded for a bit till run ways are cleared, wings de-iced. During this time the people on board get to know each other a bit. These people will ALL touch one anothers lives in a multitude of ways.
Most of the book is centered after the plane crashes and in how the victims learn to live on while so many died that tragic day. One man, a hero, will be remembered as the man who died so they could live.
It also centers on GOD. Jesus. In how HE has bigger plans in all of our lives, a purpose for each of us, some are too blind to see, but so obvious to others.
I really liked this book. It played out like a movie to me, the writing was straight up, real, solid, moving and again, powerful. Dont miss this one. Christian or not. This book has a lot to teach us all.
