This book is fantastically awful like a soap opera or any of The Bachelor franchise. It is just plain bad and over the top. Yeah, it's sexy, but the writing is terrible and the characters are nothing better than tragic. I know I have to read the next two, but if I read "my inner goddess," or "this control freak" one more time I swear I will throw up in my mouth. Yet I can't wait to start the next one- just like I can't wait until the next Bachelor Pad starts up. Really, really, I find it so fascinating that some of the most popular books over the last decade have been, at their core, about gender and power. Hmmmm.
