Nicholas Spencer, head of a company that has developed an anticancer vaccine, disappears. Reporter Marcia De Carlo (Carley) is assigned the story. Nicholas is accused of making off with huge sums of money that were to be used in researching and producing the anticancer vaccine. Carley's job is to discover what has really happened to Nicholas, and along the way she becomes a target.
