Very quick read. I like the minimalist style that relies on dialogue with no time wasted on unnecessary or clumsy description. On the other hand, it's hard to see the point of the book. Ben is not a very likable protagonist, and borders on psychopathy. An interesting, but rather dark story, with none of the happy ending hinted at in the tepid film version.
