This book is a giant epic, in the spirit of Don Winslow but set in India. Despite its length, it was a page turner and very engrossing. I enjoyed the three sections that focused on the main characters and how their lives intersect. The last part introduced a fourth character whose relationship to the main three was not so clear, and it felt jarring. The ending leaves most everything unresolved, so I eagerly await the sequal.
