I read some of the book on the subway and bus as I took it to the old soldiers' home. Unfortunately, we have few readers and so after eight weeks I pulled it and will take it to the lobby of the VA Hospital (many readers). I am sure it will vanish within hours.
The author worked mostly through long out of print autobiographical materials and shares the achievements of these uncommon women. They were hunting in the late 19th C. and early 20th C. They are treated here more fairly than they were in their salad days!
