This is vintage Binchy. Yet another fabulous cast of characters all trying to find their way in 60's Ireland. And to her great credit, Binchy manages to make even the most unsympathetic of these characters sympathetic - some barely so! I recommend Echoes to anyone who is a fan of Maeve Binchy and to those who've never heard of her. You will not be disappointed.
