A wonderful book by Beverly Lewis.This is #1 of a 5 book series-Abram's Daughters.I have the whole series and will be posting them.
The Covenant is about an Amish girl,Leah and her life.The detail about the Amish way of life that Beverly Lewis adds to her books is wonderful..she was born in the Pa. Dutch country and keeps a keen interest in her Mothers Plain heritage.This is a great story and the books only get better as you follow Leah and her family in good times and bad.You can't wait to finish one and start the next.Great reads!!!
