The abandoned mansion loomed above them in the dark night.

"We have to see who's inside the mansion," Lily said.
Alex gulped loudly, then said, " You're right. Let's do it!"
The girls gripped hands tightly together, crouched down and scuttled toward the intruder with the flickering light.
