Read this book for the monsters, not the plot. The author keeps introducing new characters who are affected by Godzilla & Co., then just drops them. Even the G-Force group is only given sketchy personalities, so you don't care about them. Giving a"what they did afterwards" update in the last chapter is a cheap way to tie up loose ends.
