Harper Blaine is a paranormal within both the real world and the paranormal realm. A greywalker to be exact. She is determined to find out why she became a greywalker and what happened to her father. Her initial investigation into her fathers death is tedious. She spends a lot of time with her mother whom she hates. Then, lucky for Harper, Edward Kammerling, leader of the Seattle vampires, calls her with a problem. And she is off to London to figure out what happened to John Purcell, Edward's London counterpart. The story finally gets interesting when she arrives in London and people are following her.
I liked the second half of this book and particularly the ending but the first half almost did me in. I really like Harper Blaine's character and her boyfriend Quinton. I hope they eventually get an adventure that is exciting and entertaining.
