I really enjoyed this book...okay, so he embellished a little. He said he wishes that he were that tough person he portrayed in the book, but he's not. Still, this is a very real look at what it's like to be on a rehab ward. I speak from experience and people can do amazing things when they set their minds to it. An addiction is an addiction and the way he fights his initial shock of being placed in rehab to the final result...as a writer, I applaud James Frey. The biggest thing that they were fighting over was whether he had his teeth done without any painkiller. He says he has proof that they did...who really cares. It was a good read.
