Okay - during the part when the dentist was drilling w/o novicane...I started to wonder if this could really be true. Yeah...turns out it wasn't - but Frey is an amazing writer regardless. I like his style. It's something different, and I still devoured this book. It was fun believing it was true before the whole Oprah scandal...but I think if I had read it after finding out it was fictional, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. I also really liked My Friend Leonard & Bright Shiny Morning.
