One of the best books I've read in a long time. Follows a Montana farming family during the years between WWI and WWII. The years pass, bringing them boom times and busts, births and deaths, joys and sorrows. Many unexpected plot twists had me turning the pages from beginning to end. Rich characters, realistic situations. Would love to hear more about what happened to the characters next, unfortunately the author died without writing any more novels. I highly recommend this book!
