An excellent book that ties many of the odd pieces together that explains why the "suicide" explanation never quite fit. I've read LOTS of books about Marilyn Monroe, but this, to me, was the ultimate explanation of what really happened that night.
You also finish the book with a much better understanding of who the real Marilyn Monroe was. However, it struck me as so very sad how her seemingly gentle spirit was used, abused, and eventually killed by high placed people and "friends" she had once trusted.
It's mind boggling how many layers of people cooperated in the cover up of her death, all in order to protect a few.
Marilyn deserved much more...
