This was a really good book...I have to say. If you are anything like me, I read "Brotherhood of Betrayal" by the same author which is actually "Book 3" to this book which is "Book 1". However, it didn't ruin anything for me by reading this book after the third... you see, while the character of Jason Faircloth is learned about quite a bit in book 3, when I started to read Wisdom Hunter, it gave all the background of how Jason had started out and where he ended up. It took nothing away from reading the last book first...which was a real plus for me. I'd not learned of this book until after reading the third. While it has the ability to become "agenda-oriented" it refrained from that and kept a fresh open mind approach. Really enjoyable reading...I would highly suggest it.
