Okay, I have to admit that I have been on a Lynette Eason kick here lately. Ive read at least 3 books by her in the last couple of weeks. Her writing is so fresh and clean. I would even call it crisp. If that doesnt make sense to you, perhaps you should read one of her books to see what I mean.

Too Close To Home was no exception to this clean, clear writing. Its a romantic suspense following Homicide Detective Connor Wolfe and FBI Special Agent Samantha Cash. The book is a race against time to find the killer of young teenage girls. When Connors daughter falls into the path of the madman, the story really heats up.

Every chapter is chock full of adventure and leaves you turning the pages faster and faster. I have to wan you though its hard to put down. I read it on the way home from Florida this weekend and found myself really frustrated every time I had to get up and leave the plane to move to the next gate for departure. Its been a little while since Ive read a book this engaging.

I made a mistake and read her second book in this series Dont Look Back first. However, it did not detract from the story. Instead, it made me want to go back and re-read the sequel.
