I debated on the rating of this book and settled for the 4, it is riddled with so much description that you can skip a lot of pages before anything happens, then you hit a point you can move forward again, then you can skip pages of descriptions without missing a thing to get on with the story.
I found the part about Beth boring and a lot of it unnecessary with all the descriptions used just to get her drunk and to her car/motel
I liked Hailey but yet found it unbelievable that she could survive off the grid for so long without anyone suspecting something and again just too many descriptions that you can skip, I mean do we need to know in 6 pages how to feed a dog?
So I'll still with the 4 rating because it is a good story but just a little too long
