Excellent military sf. Not only is there the distant, but lurking enemy but possibly the greater enemy is one of them. The new regime is built on lies and brainwashing of the children in state schools. The Bolo and his partner are cut off from the rest of their worlds making new supplys rare. They must find a way to fight off the known enemy and the enemy in the government with the help of a few citizens. Lots of intrigue and action.
