This is an awesome cookbook of basic Chinese-American dishes. Not authentic Chinese food, but all your favorites from your local suburban Chinese restaurant. Excellent recipes and instructions, well-illustrated and well tested recipes. Totally delicious recipe for Sweet & Sour chicken with homemade sauce is worth the entire price of this book. Two solid thumbs up.
