It was a tedious, grueling, and a long journey to get to the happy ending. I thought at one time I would never get there. I didn't give up. I kept thinking things would start to happen at the middle of the book. They didn't until I would say about 4/5th's of the way, maybe even 7/8th's of the way. Then, it moved quickly until maybe the last 25 pages and it slowed down again. Thankfully, it ended and happily. Thanks goodness. This is the second book in this series. I am hooked into the third because I have to find out what happens to the remaining Duke who has sworn to be a rake and never marry. He doesn't stand a chance.
