WOW! This book is exceptional for beginner's and experts alike! As a jewelry-making beginner myself, I find the book very well formatted. There are sections which detail the basic materials / tools needed to start (pictures included), plus each individual project is categorized into one of 3 sub-fields ranging from easy, moderate, to advanced. I have to admit that even the advanced seem easy enough with the quality step-by-step photographs. There are 'quick tips' throughout the book for the impatient beaders out there. Great introduction to the jewelry / beading world - a wonderful inspiration to jump off from. You will probably spend at least an hour on an "easy" piece when you're starting out though, but I have no complaints about that. Also, each individual project has a mini list of the specific supplies and tools used for that piece, plus the resources of where they were acquired. There are beading diagrams on each project page which show the various sized beads used, as well as a reference chart in the beginning of the book detailing the different sized beads in milimeters (mm). There are about 21 different resources listed in the back of the book as well (of where you can acquire the various tools / materials needed).
