I'm a great fan of J.A. Jance and have followed her other 2 series. Having just read book 2 of the new series, I love it and can't wait to get the first book. Alison Reynolds is a tossed away wife who is just getting her life back together. However, on the way to finalize her divorce (just one day before her soon-to-be ex weds his pregnant mistress), life for her changed again dramatically. Instead of being a divorcee, she's a widow and the primary suspect in his death. And that's just in the first few pages. To say any more would give too much away. This books has everything you can hope for in a J.A. Jance book.
