This is a compilation of a number of stories that involve the main character, Lazarus Long, human from a different time-line that we live in. If we read carefully, we can actually figure out just when his timeline had split with our own.
You might have read some of the stories in other compilations but this is still worth a read, if only to get them all into some form of order and in one volume.
