I enjoyed parts of this story, and disliked others. The beginning of the book was my favorite part- it was certainly the most believable part. I was torn about the whole sick child part- I don't usually care for babies or children in my erotic romances.
I agree with the assessment that some of the love scenes felt staged and stilted- and I really didn't care for some of the terminology that the author used- left me wrinkling my nose.
The second half of the story takes us out of the rodeo/cowboy setting and into the corporate world. This part of the story and the ending felt rushed and forced to me. I wouldn't give this one five stars at all- an entertaining read, but not a keeper.
