Lovely, very readable, very funny memoire written from the viewpoint of the mother of 4-yr. old and an 18-month old boys about the year she and her husband lived in France with the children. Laugh out loud descriptions of living conditions, learning to deal with groceries, neighbors, garbage, living arrangements in a small French community -- with two young children and no command of the French language. Very well written.
