This novel was very emotional and kept me guessing up to the last page. It tells what happens between Jaibriol and Kelric, and the fate of the known universe rests on what happens.
Having read the entire series I can say this one was a little more repetitious than all of the others. She kept recapping in a sentence or two what happened in previous chapters and books. I found this distracting, but then that's probably because I read the whole novel in a couple of days. Lost sleep. Couldn't put it down.
If you've read the other books in the series this is a must so you can finish up some plotlines carried over from other novels while opening others.
